Along with a diet assessment, you have the option of also completing a 1, 3 and 7-day physical activity (PA) diary. This assessment method has a low burden on participants. Information is collected on the dose of physical activity (frequency, duration and intensity) to determine your energy expenditure. This can then be compared to current Australian physical activity guidelines and your diet assessment to determine whether or not you are in positive energy balance, negative energy balance or if body weight is being maintained through appropriate levels of physical activity and a healthy diet. Practical strategies and recommendations will be provided according to the diet and PA assessment.
